Why Prune?
Pruning is great for helping trees produce a better quality of fruit, and also improving the longevity of the tree!
And, it’s a lot of fun!
Help us look after the trees of Oxford that provide us with so many apples by coming along to the session – we’ll have a good time whether we climb trees or use tools from the ground, and you’ll soon feel comfortable pruning in pairs of volunteers.
We’d love to have you join us and all are welcome but we can only take 6 people per session leader, so please do RSVP (see below) so we know how many pruning experts need to go along!
Please also let us know if you have your own tools, and also if you could lend any spare tools.Â
