CALL-OUT! Volunteers needed TODAY at 12:30 – ~1:45pm! We have a lovely tree that needs volunteers (no experience necessary!) to help prune it! The tree is a regular Abundance donor tree, with a very friendly owner, up off Cowley Road/Temple Cowley, a few mins cycle from Hollow Way.
We’ve got the tools and the know-how to share, and bread and home-made Abundanced apple jam for snacks, but we need about 2 -3 volunteers to help out.
No previous experience needed! Tree climbing not required either [unless you want to 🙂 ]
RSVP by text to 07708776392 ASAP (to get full address too) as we can’tpruning go ahead without enough people.
You’d need to just be able to join at 12:30 at the house off Hollow Way/near Temple Cowley (will give full address when you text RSVP) wearing decent boots/shoes if you can. We should be done by 1:45pm.
We’ll bring some snacks (bread, rice cakes and home-made Abundanced Apple Jam!) for all volunteers!
If you can’t make this session but would like to help prune a tree on Monday afternoon or early next week, do let us know as well by text. This will be your last chance to prune apple trees with us this year and it’s a great skill to learn, that you’d usually have to pay to learn!
