High Dorm Concert, hosted by our friends at Tandem Festival held at Hill End [ 7pm – ~10:30pm, Hill End Outdoor Education Centre]
If you love good new music or if you’re interested in community and eco ways of living, this gig is a fundraiser for Tandem Festival 2015 – which will be bringing eco-workshops, upcycling, debates & more in tandem with exciting music and the arts to you in mid-summer (over the Summer Solstice weekend)
It promises to be a pretty special evening of music & merriment, bringing Bethany Weimers & Rosie Caldecott to enchant you with their ethereal voices, in tandem with the Anglo-Cymraeg-Galego Xogara & Franco-Italian-Pole-Anglo Òkina to tickle your ears and set your feet a-dancing!
We’ll be cosy inside, but up on the hill top with no doubt a host of stars and maybe even an owl to welcome you…
Tickets are available here, Concessions (students/unemployed etc) £6, Full-price ticket £7, and the profits go towards Tandem Festival!
Best to get tickets online if you can, rather than on the door, as it means we’ll be able to make sure we have made enough cake for all coming…
If any Abundancers would like to make cakes to donate to help support Tandem</em>, which is doing a great job for promoting community projects and environmental issues to new audiences, then please do bring cakes along with you!
How to get there:
BIKE: Just a 15-20 min cycle from the train station, down the Botley road and off to the right towards Eynsham, Hill End is marked by a totem pole on your right hand side.
