Hello All! Here’s a quick run down of what we’re up to this week:
Thursday 11th December: Abundance volunteer end of year gathering! 7:30 – 9:30 pm, upstairs of East Oxford Community Centre ( in OARC)
Bring & Share food, mulled drinks and festive treats for all Abundance volunteers, as well as for those keen to find out more and join Abundance activities and help out!
Please bring some (veggie) food to share if you can, and if you’d like some apples to make a cake with to bring to the evening, please text 07708776392.
Saturday 13th December: Free Fruit Giveaway @ Bullingdon Community centre (next to Orinoco): 11 – 12 noon as part of the Swap Shop. All welcome to come take away some free apples! All harvesters also get to take away some free apples.
Sunday 14th December: Apple Pressing @ Hill End, 11:30 – 2:30pm as part of Tandem Festival’s Volunteer Party! This pressing is welcome to all, but especially welcomes those keen to help with Abundance’s involvement with Tandem Festival 2015. Early next year, we’ve got a Wassail (folk song, fire and mulled juice/cider) on 17th January in conjunction with Hogacre Common Eco Park, and then we’ll be pruning apple trees and in Spring we’ll start foraging!
