Even more excitingly, just after it had aired we had a caller with laden trees ring us, having found a number for us through the powers of google, and offer us as much of their fruit as we liked!
We popped off, sadly in the car as it really was impossible to go any other way given the amount of fruit that were were promised, and we filled the whole car with approx 150 kg of fruit !
Leaving LOTS in the trees, some windfalls and many more that were rotting to replenish the soil.
